Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026 · ENGINUVO Pty Ltd (ABN 68 586 083 013), Brisbane QLD, Australia, operator of iCapsule.

What we collect

To deliver your time capsule we store: your message and any attached file, your recipient's name and delivery details (email address, phone number or postal address), any optional tracing details you add to help us find them (such as a backup email, their date of birth, or a relative who will know how to reach them), and, if you have an account, your name and email. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

How we store it

Message content and attachments are held in private, encrypted storage with daily backups. Tracing details are stored privately with the rest of your capsule and are used only to deliver your message, never for anything else. There is no public link to your capsule. Only the delivery system can open it, and it is released only to the recipients you named, on the date you chose.

How long we keep it

Capsules can be scheduled up to 20 years ahead, so we retain your message and delivery details for as long as needed to deliver it (up to 20 years), plus a short confirmation period after delivery. Guest orders with no account are deleted after the confirmation period ends.

Deleting your data

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing operations@enginuvo.com or calling +61 413 887 345. Deleting a capsule before its delivery date removes its message and attachments immediately. We verify requests against the account email or order details before acting.

What we never do

We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We never read your messages. We never send marketing to your recipients. Analytics record page visits and purchase events only, never message content.

Australian law

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. You may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have breached the Act.
